Financial Associate
Geotechnical Consultants Inc. (GCI) is a 47 year-old civil engineering company specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, field and construction services, special inspections, and steel testing throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
GCI is seeking a full-time Finance Associate to join our team. Individual will be responsible for processing daily accounts receivables/payable, as well as business to business collections. Ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service (both internal and external). Experience with Acumatica is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in accounting/finance or related experience
- 5 years of business-to-business or consumer collection experience preferred
- Experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of collection principles, with ability to reconcile credits and debits
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to identify root cause issues, offer possible solutions and/or next course of action
- Cross functional team collaboration
- Self-motivated, and capable of performing job requirements independently
- Able to prioritize workload and achieve deadlines
- Ability to pass drug test and general background check
- Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions
- Valid driver’s license
