Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Senior Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) with at least 8 years of experience to help grow our contaminated site assessment and remediation practices in our Pennington, NJ or Bloomfield, NJ office. Apply your technical and regulatory skills to challenging environmental projects including the financial and technical evaluation, design, permitting, and construction stages, while contributing to the growth of our LSRP practice through business relationships and staff development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage an LSRP practice area including staff, clients, and revenue.
  • Support new and ongoing remediation projects as a LSRP.
  • Maintain professional contacts with other LSRPs, the NJDEP, and the regulated community through participation in professional societies or meetings.
  • Business development; including bringing in new clients and obtaining repeat business from existing clients, leading proposal preparation, and developing and implementing a business development plan.
  • Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Management and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors.
  • Prepare work plans, technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
  • Review and manage written document production.
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties; and at times, the job may also include short-term fieldwork including site reconnaissance; meetings with clients, subcontractors, staff, or regulators; and other site visits in an observational or leadership role.
  • Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
Education and Licensure:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or related field. (required)
  • New Jersey LSRP in good standing. (required)
  • Advanced degree in engineering or geology. (preferred)
  • Professional registration. (i.e., P.G. or P.E.). (preferred)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years (10 preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
  • Proven track record as an LSRP, including issuing Response Action Outcomes and/or other similar experience at complex remediation sites. (required)
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)
  • Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients. (required)
  • Proven leadership skills. (required)
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
  • Field work and overnight travel may be required.
  • Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred)
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.
  • Minimum Salary: $129,105/year / Maximum Salary: $209,060 /year (Pennington, NJ)
  • Minimum Salary: $134,970/year / Maximum Salary: $218,560 /year (Bloomfield, NJ)
