Description
The role of Marketing Communications Intern at Geospace Technologies supports targeted marketing activities for the global business enterprise including all business units and subsidiaries. This role will provide an intern with the opportunity to participate in marketing and communications initiatives at a publicly held technology manufacturing company.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated Marketing/Communications college senior or recent graduate, preferably with prior internship experience. This internship will help a student or new graduate acquire marketing skills and knowledge of various marketing strategies.
- Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.
- Performing market analysis and research on competition.
- Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
- Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM).
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the Marketing Communications Intern will:
- Display a strong desire to learn.
- Understand a variety of different marketing techniques.
- Use excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Know and effectively use MS Office.
- Show a familiarity with or a readiness to learn marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, digital analytics and Google Adwords).
Duration-
This is an twelve-week internship position with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
Average workweek availability-
25-30hrs per week
