GeoSearch is actively seeking a Survey Crew Chief in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area! Under the guidance of the Professional Surveyor, you'll dive into diverse projects, including boundary, ALTA/NSPS Land Title, topographic, photo control, route, and construction stakeout surveys. We're looking for someone who thrives on efficiency and safety, ensuring every operation adheres to our high standards. Each day, you'll leverage cutting-edge technology, operating Total Stations, UAVs, Scanners and GPS equipment to meticulously collect data. You'll also be responsible for taking precise notes, creating detailed diagrams, and maintaining our state-of-the-art equipment and survey vehicles.
Candidates who meet the qualifications are eligible for up to a $2,500 sign-on bonus upon successful onboarding.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years' survey crew chief experience
- Skilled in the use of GPS devices, data collectors and/or Total Station
- Work requires independent judgment and initiative
- Knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, and instruments used in computer aided drafting
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices and construction specifications, plans, and regulations related to construction
- Knowledge of industry specific safe workplace principles and practices
- Ability to operate motorized equipment
- Ability to work outdoors under various field conditions
- Valid Driver's License
