Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with service requests
- Listen to customer concerns and help communicate their needs to the service team
Communication:
- Keep customers informed throughout their service experience
- Provide updates about vehicle issues, repairs, and estimated costs
Documentation:
- Accurately document customer concerns and technician findings
- Ensure all work orders are clear, complete, and properly filed
Shop Organization:
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service area
- Assist with organizing technician workload and shop scheduling
Basic Repair & Maintenance (as training allows):
- Support technicians with simple tasks while learning the service process
Follow-Up:
- Reach out to customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns post-service
Technology Use:
- Learn and utilize dealership service software to manage customer interactions and track vehicle history
Adhere to Standards:
- Uphold brand and dealership standards for customer satisfaction and professionalism
- Comply with company policies and applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the automotive industry
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous customer service or automotive experience
- Valid driver’s license required
