REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
This position requires a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or a related field. Candidates should have proven experience in working with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and expediting deliveries. Familiarity with shipping terms, Incoterms, and logistics procedures is highly desirable, and experience with ERP systems or procurement software is considered a plus.
Equivalent Experience: Candidates with significant hands-on experience in supply chain or procurement operations, even without formal education in the field, will be considered. This includes roles involving vendor coordination, order tracking, logistics management, or similar tasks.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: A valid Georgia Drivers License
Specialized Skills (e.g., typing, computers, software, tools and equipment uses, etc.): Possess strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple purchase orders and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for liaising effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and logistics providers. Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar), procurement software, and Microsoft Office tools (including Excel, Word, and Outlook) is required.
