Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to identify and secure funding opportunities that support the institution's research initiatives.
Job Duty 2 -
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, private industry, and nonprofit organizations, to enhance collaborative research efforts.
Job Duty 3 -
Analyze market trends and funding landscapes to identify potential research partnerships and funding sources that align with the institution's research priorities.
Job Duty 4 -
Lead the proposal development process by coordinating interdisciplinary teams, drafting proposals, and ensuring adherence to funding agency guidelines and institutional policies.
Job Duty 5 -
Prepare and deliver detailed presentations and reports on business development activities, funding successes, and partnership outcomes to senior leadership and relevant committees.
Job Duty 6 -
Monitor key performance indicators and evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives to inform strategic planning and resource allocation.
Job Duty 7 -
Organize and facilitate outreach events, workshops, and networking opportunities to promote the institution's research capabilities and engage with potential funding partners.
Job Duty 8 -
Provide expert guidance and training to faculty and researchers on grant writing techniques, proposal development, and effective engagement with funding organizations.
Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.
Job Duty 10 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience
3 years of relevant experience; 1 years of supervisory knowledge
Master's Degree in related discipline; advanced certification may be preferred or required (some profiles may require additional education).
