Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems.
- Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about menu items and restaurant services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving to resolve issues promptly.
- Support food service operations by assisting servers during busy periods as needed.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout each shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, enhancing efficiency in managing reservations and orders.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is advantageous but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour
