Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field. Two years of experience as a sworn staff member in law enforcement or corrections. Two years of experience in criminal and/or administrative investigations. Completion of Basic Law enforcement (PBLE) Certification. Completion of Basic Correctional Officer Training (BCOT) Certification. (Entry pay: $55,326.56 and Entry pay with mandate: $64,900.95).
NOTE: This position is in the Southwest Region and is located at Wilcox State Prison in Abbeville, Wilcox County, Georgia. The selected applicant must reside 50 miles or less from the prison.
