What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at Georgia Spine Orthopaedics & Neurology WorkReady?
We're Hiring | Senior Financial Analyst | North Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Georgia Spine & Orthopaedics is on an exciting growth trajectory, and we are looking for a sharp, driven Senior Financial Analyst to grow with us.
If you are passionate about healthcare finance, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want your work to directly influence the strategic direction of a thriving, multi-location specialty practice — this is the opportunity for you.
Why This Role?
This is not your average analyst seat. You will sit at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations — partnering with physicians and executive leadership to drive meaningful decisions across our orthopaedic and personal injury practice network. You will have real visibility, real impact, and real room to grow.
What You Will Do
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across multiple clinic locations
- Build and maintain advanced financial models that guide expansion planning, acquisitions, and operational improvements
- Dive deep into revenue cycle analytics — analyzing billing, collections, AR, denials, and reimbursement trends specific to personal injury and workers' compensation
- Develop executive dashboards and management reporting packages that tell the financial story of our business
- Partner directly with physicians, operations leaders, and the executive team to present findings and strategic recommendations
- Identify revenue leakage opportunities and champion financial performance improvements
- Support month-end and year-end close, audits, and compliance reporting
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred)
- 5 years of financial analysis experience, ideally in healthcare or medical practice management
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, and workers' compensation or personal injury reimbursement
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling proficiency
- Experience with EMR/PM systems and financial reporting tools a plus
- Outstanding analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Orthopaedic, specialty practice, or multi-site healthcare experience is a significant plus
- Familiarity with workers' compensation lien-based reimbursement structures and physician productivity modeling is highly desirable
What We Offer
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- Performance-based bonus opportunities
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
- Generous paid time off and paid holidays
- 401(k) with company match
- Professional development support and advancement opportunities
- A collaborative, people-first culture with a genuine family atmosphere
