Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans tailored to each individual’s needs, utilizing techniques rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health principles.
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines to promote independence.
  • Support clients during teaching sessions, reinforcing positive behaviors and guiding skill acquisition in areas such as communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate closely with BCBA supervisors, families, educators, and other team members to ensure consistent implementation of interventions.
  • Uphold patient care standards by demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, special education, or working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods.
  • Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health initiatives effectively.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation procedures, and HIPAA compliance related to medical records.
  • Excellent teaching skills combined with patience and compassion for working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with other developmental challenges.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and families.
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications such as CPR/First Aid are a plus but not required. Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
