TIME FRAME and PAY RATE: 4pm Friday night to 11:59 Sunday Night-pay rate-$17
Georgia Options is an Athens-based non-profit dedicated to helping adults with developmental disabilities have typical life experiences. We are looking for Direct Support Professionals in the Athens area who are reliable, fun, and willing to try new things and have new experiences!
No previous experience is needed, but enthusiasm and a positive attitude are a must! All training will be provided. A high school diploma is required. Applicants must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide support, guidance, and coaching to assist the person in making friends and establishing community relationships. You will also provide personal care and assist with health-related activities. At times, you may need to help the person work through difficult emotions or behaviors to communicate their needs and/or wants effectively. Your role is to help the person live their best life.
