We are looking for a detail-oriented and mission-driven Finance Operations Manager to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring our financial health, maintaining compliance, and supporting the daily operations that allow us to live out our mission.
Responsibilities
- Manage all representative payee functions for individuals supported, including bill payments, benefits deposits, account monitoring, and STABLE account management.
- Record, reconcile, and report all financial transactions in QuickBooks; balance accounts monthly.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes; maintain vendor relationships and resolve billing questions.
- Manage organizational records in QuickBooks and donor database (Bloomerang).
- Make deposits, verify Medicaid billing receipts, and oversee income tracking.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Support financial aspects of grants, including budgeting and reporting.
- Prepare reports for the Executive Director, external accountants, auditors, and families as required.
- Oversee nonprofit compliance needs, including licensing and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payable/receivable experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel required.
- Experience with payroll and online billing platforms preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
