Summary
As the Shipping / Receiving Coordinator this position will be responsible for administering incoming and outgoing shipments. Which includes coordinating and maintaining accurate records of all transactions from inbound and outbound traffic, while having effective communications throughout on all levels which include but not limited to carriers, suppliers and internal teams.

As the Shipping / Receiving Coordinator this position will be responsible for administering incoming and outgoing shipments. Which includes coordinating and maintaining accurate records of all transactions from inbound and outbound traffic, while having effective communications throughout on all levels which include but not limited to carriers, suppliers and internal teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support internal movement between warehouses
- Prepare outbound documents for carrier pickups
- Ability to work in dynamic and quickly changing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare import / export documents in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain high standards of customer service by resolving issues in a timely manner
- Ability to learn standard MHE (Material Handling Equipment)
- Communicate with relevant departments regarding discrepancies, damages and shortages on inbound / outbound loads
- Monitor drivers check in / check out schedules, ensuring load are being met timely
- Actively Assist in continuous improvements activities and offer positive suggestions for improvements and innovations
- May be required to work on weekends during peak season
- Additional duties assigned
- May be required to work mandatory weekends and or overtime when needed
