Position Overview
The Neurology Clinic Front Desk Staff Member serves as the primary in-person contact for patients and caregivers in a neurology clinic. This role is responsible for creating a calm, welcoming, and well-organized experience for patients—many of whom may be managing complex or chronic neurological conditions.
This role helps create a smooth clinic flow by managing patient check-in and check-out, assisting with rooming, handling payments, and supporting daily clinic operations.
This is a fully on-site position in a neurology clinic. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Flow & Front Desk Support
- Greet patients and caregivers and manage patient check-in
- Assist patients with required paperwork
- Fill in visit tickets and support visit documentation workflows
- Room patients as needed and communicate status to clinical staff
- Manage patient check-out and next-step instructions
Scheduling & Systems
- Schedule follow-up visits and future appointments
- Support clinic scheduling needs throughout the day
Administrative Support
- Collect co-pays and payments at time of visit
- Complete staff tasks, paperwork, and clinic administrative duties
- Assist with patient phone calls
- Assist with verifying insurance for patients
- Request, receive, fax, upload medical documentation
Working Environment & Schedule
- On-site neurology clinic
- Patient-facing role
- Full-time schedule; hours based on clinic needs but typical hours are from 8:30 or 9:00am until 5:30pm or 6pm
- Majority of work days based in Duluth, GA. May require 1-2 days of work per month in Riverdale, GA office.

Required Qualifications
- Must speak English and Korean
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- Prior customer service or healthcare front desk experience preferred
- Comfortable interacting with patients managing neurological conditions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient PC skills; experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability
- US work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a neurology or specialty clinic
- Familiarity with Practice Fusion
