Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers. This is a vital role in our company, as you will be the face of our organization and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, such as vans or trucks, to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer instructions
- Verify the accuracy of delivery contents by comparing them with shipping documents
- Assist with inventory control by keeping track of delivered items and reporting any discrepancies
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
- Communicate effectively with customers and address any concerns or issues that may arise during deliveries
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours on the road
