Purpose of Job
The purpose of this job is to oversee the retail cashless process by analyzing and reconciling gaming system reports with payment processor company and related cashless payments. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales Operations and will work closely with Finance. Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage and coordinate retail locations with IGT on delivery and management of payment processing.
- Research and process disputes in payment processor system on behalf of Georgia Lottery.
- Approve payment adjustment requests via ad-hoc cashless report.
- Ensure issues are identified, researched, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
- Interface with finance, operations, and IGT to manage debit processing.
- Support new implementations, with responsibility for payment processing components, and accountability to overall project for the delivery.
- Ensure the accuracy and reconciliation of all daily processing of all debit card payments between lottery system reports and the payment processor.
- Review weekly funds settlement.
- Research, analyze and resolve processing issues and questions regarding debit processing though various communications channels.
- Document and identify duplicate transactions or any potential fraud.
- Keep the sales management team and Finance updated monthly.
- Make recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance or Business), or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience with related experience working with external vendors.
- Strong analytical, verbal and written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently research issues, develop/execute resolution strategies.
- Background working effectively with a variety of groups across the organization including finance, operations, third-party vendors, and senior management.
- Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests
