Data Center Project Manager
Duration: 12 months
Location: Owings Mills, MD
Rate: DOE
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end data center projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, facilities, security, and vendors.
- Manage timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and change control processes.
- Oversee infrastructure-related projects such as server deployments, power and cooling upgrades, and network installations.
- Ensure compliance with data center standards and operational procedures.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Facilitate project meetings and document progress, action items, and milestones.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation and reporting tools.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data center or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of data center technologies, including networking, server hardware, power/cooling systems, and cabling.
- Experience with data center migrations, consolidations, or large-scale hardware deployments.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Owings Mills, MD, as required.
