Job Summary
Busy Middle Georgia Cardiology practice seeking to employ a Registered or Certified Cardiac Nurse. Candidates will work with cardiologists, and Nurse Practitioners to ensure and expedite quality care. You will work with patients who have been affected by cardiac issues and disorders like cardiac arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, congestive heart failure, bypass surgery, and others. Experience in Cardiac Stress Testing (treadmill exercise, and Pharmacologic testing) is required.
Essential functions include:
· * Assessing a patient’s heart performance using an electrocardiogram.
· Observing abnormal heart rhythms.
· Supporting cardiologists in treating ailing patients.
· Administering medications.
· Monitoring vital signs.
· Performing advanced life support interventions such as CPR and defibrillation.
· Providing comprehensive care to patients, from diagnostics and screenings to education and lifestyle management.
· Management and leadership of diagnostic staff
· Oversee Diagnostic patient care during stress testing ( treadmill and Pharmacologic )
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
