About us
Georgia-Florida Security & Fire is a 3rd generation, family-owned security and fire alarm company headquartered in Tallahassee, with additional offices in Thomasville, GA & Tampa, FL and our own TMA Five Diamond central station. We are adding to our residential and small-business sales team. The division sells alarm, video and monitoring to homeowners and local businesses.
The job
Selling security systems and monitoring to homeowners and small businesses. We hand you company-generated leads; you add referrals and your own prospecting. You run the appointment, quote, close, and hand a clean job to the install team. You are paid on what you close and on the recurring revenue you create, every month, with no cap.
What you'll do
- Work company leads the same day: survey the home or business, quote, close
- Build your own pipeline through referrals, local businesses, realtors and property managers
- Sell upgrades, cell-com conversions and camera add-ons to existing customers
- Hand complete, accurate paperwork to installation and accounting through our software platform
- Provide top-tier customer service to clients.
Pay
- $40,000-$50,000 base salary - dependent on experience.
- Commissions: Commissions on every sale, monthly & quarterly bonuses for hitting desired sales targets. No cap.
- Company vehicle, gas card, phone, laptop. Health insurance (100% paid for the employee), paid company holidays, paid time off, and 401(k) eligibility after 90 days.
Who you are
- 2 years closing in-person B2C or small-business sales: security, home services, solar, telecom, pest control, auto, insurance. You ran the appointment and asked for the order.
- Organized with paperwork and multitasking.
- Comfortable in customers' homes and businesses.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; able to pass a background check.
- Security or alarm experience is a plus, not a requirement.
- Recent graduates highly encouraged to apply.
