What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant / LPN position at Georgia Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center, LLC?
We are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant or LPN to work in our Augusta, GA location. We would also consider an applicant with front office experience in a medical office setting.
We are looking for a candidate with (but not limited to) the following:
- Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate personality
- Assist providers with general, surgical and cosmetic dermatologic conditions
- Accurate medical record keeping and documentation
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- General cleanliness and setup of exam rooms before and after each work day
- Educate patients on medical treatments, prescribed medication(s), and conditions
- Provide quality patient care and comfort to our patients
- Detail oriented and organized
Applicant must be detail oriented with the ability to maintain high volumes of patients, multi-tasking and must possess excellent customer service skills.
Applicant must be able to work both independently and as a team.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
