Human Resource Technician
Walker State Prison
We are looking for an experienced HR Technician at Walker State Prison. As HR Tech you will be responsible for payroll processes, interviewing candidates, and accurately entering data.

Schedule
- Day Shift
- 8 Hour Shifts
- Monday-Friday
- No Nights
- No Weekends
Job Requirements
- Human Resource Function: 1 year (Required)
- Minimum one year college (Preferred)
Job Description
- Coordinate hiring and entry processes for new hires
- Ensure all required forms are completed
- Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments and post information onto designated records for employees
- Calculate and initiate payroll computation and deductions and enter data into computer system
- Enters and verifies personnel transactions
- Provides information to employees and others on payroll matters, tax issues, and benefit plans
