Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Night Warehouse Truck Shifter to join our team. This role is responsible for safely moving company trucks around the yard, loading them in a timely manner, and performing associated tasks related to warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety precautions when operating equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with warehousing policies to contribute to a safe and appropriate work environment.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained.
- Work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
- Assist with warehouse duties when required.
- Clean up work area at the end of each shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have 6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Have 6 months or more of driving a box truck or larger.
- Have basic mathematics and computer skills.
- Prior yard jockey experience is a plus.
- Heavy and repetitive lifting of 40lbs minimum required.
- Attention to detail to ensure the safety of self and others.
- Willingness to work with other team members to achieve company goals.
- Pass a background check (police backgrounds, reference checks).
- Acknowledge acceptable Motor Vehicle Record requirements.
