Job Summary

Deliver products to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality service and building strong relationships with clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck safely and efficiently, adhering to federal and state traffic laws, and using caution to avoid breakage and shifting merchandise.
• Complete deliveries to pre-assigned customers daily, adjusting routes as necessary.
• Assist other drivers or perform additional deliveries when required.
• Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections, logging any defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the vehicle and loading area.
• Verify accurate product delivery and receipt of funds (accepting only credit card payments).
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors regarding delivery status and any challenges encountered.

Requirements

• Age: 21 years or older.
• Driving Experience: At least one year of experience driving a box truck or larger type vehicle.
• Licenses and Certifications:
• Valid DOT Medical Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Criminal Background Check: Pass a thorough background check, including police records and reference checks.
• Motor Vehicle Record: Maintain an acceptable record, with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past three years, and no major infractions within the last five years.
