Job Summary
This position manages GCIs existing statewide beef cattle operation, dairy operation, (Reidsville, GA), egg laying facility (Mount Vernon, GA) and 6 Farms/staff across the State. Responsibilities also include oversight of a gristmill, canning plant, fresh vegetable production, and 4,000 acres of row crops.
GCI Farm Division manages approximately 14,000 acres throughout Georgia, including timberland, row crops, pasture, and hay production. This position requires same-day travel throughout the State.
Preferred Qualification:
*Valid Class E or Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
*Current Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certification and fully trained in all aspects of working, buying, selling, and transporting cattle, hay harvest, general farming skills.
*Current private pesticide license.
*Relevant experience working with the Georgia Department of Agriculture.
*Knowledge of all animal health livestock including equine, avain and bovine family.
*Experience communicating with the State Veterinarian on animal health matters as well as nutritional matters.
*Computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office and Google Suite including Excel, Workday, email, *Financial Reconciliation
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field which includes three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or seven (7) years of related professional experience which includes three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or three (3) years of experience required at the lower level Mgr, Business Ops (GSM010) or position equivalent.

Pay: $55,372.45 - $66,685.10 per year
