Job Overview
Georgia Commercial Landscape is seeking an experienced Commercial Landscape Crew Leader to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for leading a commercial lawn maintenance crew, ensuring quality workmanship, and providing exceptional service to our commercial clients.
The ideal candidate has previous commercial lawn maintenance experience, strong leadership skills, and can safely operate a box truck while maintaining a professional attitude with both customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a commercial landscape maintenance crew.
- Safely drive and operate a company box truck to and from job sites.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
- Perform commercial lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, weed control, pruning, and seasonal landscape work.
- Train, motivate, and hold crew members accountable.
- Inspect completed work before leaving each property.
- Follow daily schedules and communicate effectively with management.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and secured.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and customer requirements.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
- Coordinate daily tasks such as lawn care, planting, pruning, and general landscape maintenance
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and equipment use
- Oversee the quality of work on-site, providing guidance and feedback to team members
- Assist with client communication and project planning to meet specific landscape goals
- Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Support training efforts for team members on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation
Requirements
*Must have a valid GA drivers license
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor work
- Supervising or leadership experience in a landscaping or construction environment
- Knowledge of lawn care practices, horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and gardening best practices
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance routines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and operating commercial lawn machinery
- Good communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members alike

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
