Position: Youth Pastor

About Our Church

Redland Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation located in South Georgia. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and hold to the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.

Purpose: To provide a biblical worldview and oversight to youth at Redland. Introduce youth to Christ and disciple them in spiritual growth.

Reports to: Senior Pastor/Elder Board

Duties And Responsibilities

• Regular bible teaching on Wednesday nights, and Sunday mornings
• Cultivate a culture focused on Christ and developing disciples
• Encourage students in their personal relationship with Christ through study, prayer, service, and fellowship
• Maintain safety of youth during on-campus and off-campus events
• Recruit and train adult leaders to assist the youth ministry
• Organize youth off-campus events and ministry
• Social media account holder for the Church to relay news to the community
• Web design/maintenance of the Church website
• Manage youth ministry budget responsibly and in coordination with Church policy and leadership
• Available to assist in other ministry areas as needed
  
  

Expectations And Qualifications

• After joining the Church. meet the qualifications of a Member in Good Standing as defined in the Constitution and By-laws of Redland Baptist Church
• Most importantly have an authentic, personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and be ambassadors for Him in your personal life. "2 Cor. 5:20-21"
• Agrees with The Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and our Church’s theological beliefs
• A heart for evangelism and discipleship, particularly youth
• Strong teaching, organizational, and leadership skills
• Web design/maintenance experience is strongly preferred
