Senior Pastor

Glyndale Baptist Church is located on the beautiful coast of Southeast Georgia, at exit 36 off I-95. We are seeking a full time Senior Pastor to lead our

traditional/comtemporary congregation. The candidate should be an ordained Baptist minister, have a love for God, a servant's heart, and the ability to

shepherd our congregation in biblical truth. The Pastor should be a person who loves and enjoys people, can relate well to a variety of different people in

a genuine and humble way, and be able to determine the needs of individuals within the church in order to provide them with requisite pastoral care. He

will provide spiritual direction and discernment in supporting all the church programs and ministries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years pastoral expterience.
• Seminary degree consistence with the Baptist doctrine.
• College/Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven ministerial leadership.
• Effective administrative skills with the ability to organize and lead the church staff.
  
  

Some Of The Responsibilities For The Senior Pastor Include

• Lead Sunday worship, Wednesday prayer meeting services, weddings, funerals, and special services and functions as approved by the pastor and ministries.
• Preach and teach the Word of God with boldness, clarity and understanding.
• Lead our church with regard to congregational growth and community engagement as a New Testament church.
• Teach believers how to apply God's truth to their everyday lives and to their relationship with God and with others.
• Bring people together in a relationship with God through worship, fellowship, and missions to equip our members to grow and share their faith with God's Biblical plan.
• Oversee the pastoral care needs of the congregation.
