Join our dynamic team as an Outdoor Power Equipment and Compact Tractor Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in service and repair of a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including TYM compact tractors, Commercial and residential Zero turn mowers, Stihl, Exmark and Husqvarna, 2 cycle and 4 cycle small engines. Duties
- Diagnose and repair outdoor power equipment such as compact tractors, generators, lawnmowers, hadheld and small engines using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform comprehensive engine repairs, including diesel engine troubleshooting and overhaul.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on equipment electrical systems, wiring, sensors, and control modules.
- Utilize your own hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Maintain detailed work orders, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
Experience
- Proven dealership or service technician experience working with outdoor power equipment or compact tractors, and hand held equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in engine repair—diesel and gasoline engines preferred—and small engine maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems and the ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately.
- Experience in skid steer , mini excavator rental repair including electrical diagnostics and mechanical systems troubleshooting are a plus .
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, techniques, and power generation systems.
- Knowledge of Exmark, Husqvarna, Stihl , TYM Tractors or other brands is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks required for equipment repair and maintenance.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
