What we’re looking for
The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department. This role requires occasional but infrequent travel to Versailles location.
How you’ll contribute
A Supply Chain Technician who excels in this role:
- Perform periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
- Stock units with office and medical supplies; prepare requisitions to maintain par levels.
- Receive shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
- Answer the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
- Complete clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
- Process outgoing mail.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma Preferred
