Minimum Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. degree in Economics or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the university level.
- A strong record or clear potential of scholarly research and publications in reputable economics journals.
- Ability to communicate complex economic concepts effectively to diverse student populations.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postdoctoral research experience or prior teaching experience at the university level.
- Expertise in specialized areas such as econometrics, labor economics, development economics, or environmental economics.
- Experience with interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
- Proficiency in quantitative data analysis software and programming languages relevant to economic research.
- Active participation in professional economics associations and networks.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and rigorous lectures and seminars in economics to undergraduate and graduate students.
