POSITION PURPOSE:
We are offering a wonderful opportunity to begin at the ground floor (with opportunity for growth) of a new Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice. Our dynamic office is looking for a positive, energetic, and self-motivated individual to help assist the doctor(s) with serving the community and surrounding communities with the highest quality and standards of patient care and comfort.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for maintaining appearance and order of oral surgery office, patient scheduling, and patient management
- The job duties include greeting patients, answer telephones, respond to and send faxes, gather information from patients upon patients' arrival by having them fill out forms, conduct patient insurance verifications, schedule and confirm appointments, receive patient payments, record them in a database, and provide receipts to patients
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Patient-Centric Attitude: Genuinely serve our patients at every level, enhancing patient satisfaction and increasing office efficiency.
Positive Impact: Positively influence patients, coworkers, referring offices, and the practice as a whole.
Educational Background: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
Experience Preferred: 1 year of billing and collections experience required in oral surgery, dental, or medical.
Administrative Skills: Working knowledge of computers for Microsoft Office, scheduling, insurance claims processing and records management. Open Dental software experience preferred.
Multitasking Ability: Demonstrated ability to multitask and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Service Expertise: Experienced with customer service techniques, ensuring a superior patient experience.
Communication Skills: Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members.
Adaptability: Willingness to take on other duties as assigned and adapt to the evolving needs of the practice.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
- Full-Time 30-40 hours per week. Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
BENEFITS/SALARY:
- Compensation commensurate with experience.
