Role Overview:
As an International Tax Manager, you will work closely with firm leadership and clients to manage complex international tax engagements. This role focuses on client advisory, technical tax leadership, engagement management, and mentoring staff while supporting the continued growth of the firm’s international tax practice.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying tax issues and providing strategic solutions.
- Manage staff on engagement deliverables including tax returns and work papers.
- Perform technical and strategic reviews to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Review complex international, federal, and multi-state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Manage foreign reporting including FBAR, Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 1120-F, and GILTI reporting.
- Collaborate with Partners on tax planning strategies.
- Research complex tax matters and provide guidance to clients.
- Mentor, coach, and supervise staff to support professional development.
- Participate in practice development initiatives and new business opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- BS Degree in Accounting.
- Master’s degree in Taxation or related field preferred.
- 6 years of tax experience in public accounting or related field, including 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong international tax experience, including exposure to foreign reporting such as FBAR, Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 1120-F, and GILTI.
- CPA, EA, or equivalent certification required.
- Strong experience managing client engagements and technical tax matters.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with tax and accounting technology.
Salary: $120,000–$160,000 performance bonus
