George Thomas is exclusively partnering with a leading rigid packaging company serving the global market. We are seeking a Key Account Manager to serve and expand a major customer.
Reporting to the VP for North America, you will collaborate with diverse teams to enhance customer satisfaction and deliver outstanding service.
Location - This is a remote position for candidates residing in the NY Metro and NJ area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and cultivate strategic relationships with a major customer.
- Build meaningful connections across customer organizations to stimulate growth
- Identify new product opportunities from insightful customer feedback
- Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain to address customer needs
- Highlight competitive advantages with tact during negotiations
- Develop compelling value propositions using an insights-driven strategy
- Manage account planning, pipeline management, and CRM systems meticulously
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in direct sales or key account management, ideally in CPG, cosmetics, primary pharmaceutical packaging.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus
- Enthusiastic about adopting new marketing and sales techniques
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to exceed sales goals
