Position: Curriculum Production Aide

 

Salary is commensurate upon previous experience.

 

 

Objective:

The Curriculum Production Aide supports district and campus instructional operations by assisting in preparing, organizing, and assembling instructional materials. Responsibilities include document preparation, printing, assembling binders, organizing materials, and performing quality checks. The Curriculum Production Aide works under the guidance of the Production Team Lead to ensure that essential instructional materials are produced accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

 

The Curriculum Production Aide role is essential in ensuring that high-quality instructional materials are delivered to our educators on time, supporting the educational success of our district’s programs.

 

Essential Functions:

Document Preparation & Assembly

  • Assist in the preparation and assembly of instructional materials, including Curriculum Pacing Calendars, Coaching and Conferencing binders, New Teacher binders, and Accommodations binders.
  • Follow established guidelines and templates to ensure consistency and quality in all produced documents.

Printing & Reproduction Support

  • Operate printing and binding equipment to produce materials such as Anchor Charts, instructional documents, and visual aids.
  • Organize and label printed materials for easy access and distribution.

Binder & Packet Assembly

  • Compile, assemble, and organize binders and packets for various instructional purposes.
  • Ensure materials are accurate, complete, and organized in accordance with district standards.

Inventory & Supply Management

  • Monitor supplies, such as paper, ink, binders, and other necessary materials, notifying the Team Lead of any low inventory.
  • Assist with tracking and organizing inventory in the production area.

Digital File Management & Organization

  • Support digital file organization by saving, labeling, and maintaining digital files as directed by the Production Team Lead.
  • Assist with minor updates or adjustments to digital content under supervision.

Quality Control

  • Review completed materials for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
  • Identify and report any errors or inconsistencies to the Production Team Lead for correction.

General Support & Collaboration

  • Collaborate effectively with other Production Aides and follow instructions provided by the Production Team Lead.
  • Provide general support within the production area, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

Professionalism:

  • To be punctual and be available during official working hours.
  • To comply with AAMA policies, standards, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • To take precautions to protect equipment, materials, and facilities.
  • To participate responsibly in the school’s improvement initiatives.
  • To demonstrate timeliness and attendance for assigned responsibilities.
  • To work collaboratively with other professionals and staff.
  • To provide and accept evaluative feedback professionally.
  • Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about school personnel.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Basic proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and PDF viewing/editing software.
  • Familiarity with printing and binding equipment is a plus, though training will be provided.

Phsycial Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods depending on production needs.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to follow established processes.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude.

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a production or educational support role is preferred.
