Position Overview and Responsibilities
We are a rapidly growing company with an immediate opening for a Director of our DME division. This position will have a home office at one of our locations that best suits the candidate and will require travel. We are seeking candidates with flexibility, proven leadership experience, durable medical equipment knowledge, as well as excellent customer service and communication skills. In this role, you will be responsible for running day-to-day operations and guiding long-term general business strategy, and financial goals in collaboration with business owners and first-line managers. Tasks may include hiring, scheduling, setting team goals and tracking financial and growth initiatives. Hours of operation are M-F 8am-5pm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in the Durable Medical Field
- 5 years exp. with durable medical equipment, insurance review and prior authorizations
- Brightree software experience preferred
- 5 years exp. managing a team (hiring, coaching, developing, etc.)
Required Skills and Competencies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling patient information
- Financial Acuity, mine data, interpret metrics, set productivity measures.
- Ability to work both autonomously and be a team player as necessary
- Self-starter, organized, multi-tasker, detail-oriented
- Effective oral and written communication, time management, problem-solving, decision-making, good people skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with personnel, referral sources, business leaders, and customers.
- Able to market the organization to referral sources.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to participate in/with trade associations.
- Computer/Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency
Physical Demands:
- Regularly seated at a desk in an office environment.
- Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
- Frequent operation of a vehicle for business purposes.
- Visual abilities required include reading, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
