Responsibilities
- Operate pressing machines, steamers, and finishing equipment efficiently to press various types of garments and linens
- Inspect clothing items for wrinkles, stains, or defects before pressing and ensure quality standards are met
- Handle dry cleaning processes when necessary, following safety protocols and manufacturer instructions
- Assist with laundry tasks such as sorting, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries related to garment care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area to ensure a safe working environment
- Accurately process transactions involving cash handling or cashiering duties when required
- Follow all safety procedures related to equipment operation and chemical use
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of dry cleaning, laundry procedures, and garment care techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions or measurements
- Good cleaning skills to maintain a tidy work area
- Experience with cashiering or cash handling is a plus
