Shuttle Driver & Maintenance/Janitor Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused individual to serve as a Shuttle Driver & Maintenance/Janitor for our facility. This role is essential to maintaining a positive customer experience and ensuring that our shop, property, and company vehicles remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will be professional, courteous, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities – Shuttle Driver

• Safely transport customers to and from the shop while their vehicle is being serviced.
• Hold friendly and courteous conversations with customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Pick up and deliver shop materials, parts, and supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable shuttle vehicle at all times.
• Represent the company professionally with a positive attitude and excellent customer service.
• Follow all traffic laws and maintain safe driving practices at all times.

Main Responsibilities – Maintenance/Janitor

• Keep buildings and work areas clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Perform routine and heavy-duty cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, trash removal, etc.
• Clean and restock restrooms regularly.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks as needed, including painting and minor facility fixes.
• Monitor building condition and inform management of any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with the movement of equipment, furniture, and shop supplies.
• Maintain and properly store janitorial tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
• Perform occasional fumigation/insecticide application when required.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid and clean Florida driver’s license.
• Previous experience in janitorial, maintenance, or cleaning preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle physical tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
• Strong communication skills, friendly customer service presence.
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly to needs as they arise.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
