Summary of the Position: The Behavioral Health Technician 1 serves as security personnel for the Female Step Down facility during the assigned shift. The safety and security of the youth are the primary responsibilities of the evening security worker.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safety and Security - Maintain safety and security for all youth during night hours.
- Report any absconder, behavioral issue, or maintenance issue to all necessary parties.

Lifting Requirements | Must be able to perform safety procedures as needed. Procedures may require lifting up to 50 pounds. |
Physical Requirements | Must pass physical and be able to physically restrain persons served when necessary. |
Work Location: This position is required to work at various locations, both inside and outside and across campus. |
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to work over night
