This role is ideal for a seasoned technician with prior experience servicing Kia vehicles, who takes pride not only in their own work, but in mentoring and supporting newer technicians as they grow. You’ll be trusted with advanced mechanical tasks, diagnostics, and helping maintain the high standards our dealership is known for.
GM Certified Technician Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose automotive problems as they arise
- Conducting inspections, repairing engine failure, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts
- Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process
- Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team

GM Certified Technician Qualifications
- 1-3 years of prior automotive experience
- 3 years if not Kia/Import-related experience
- ASEP Certification required.
- ASEP Certifications will be ask for at interview
- CDK experience preferred
- Must adapt to digital MPI with photo and video inspections
- Driver’s License
- Personal Tools
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
