Responsibilities For The Control Panel Builder
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to schematics and layout drawings.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
- Mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
- Perform precise wiring and labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Inspect and test completed panels for functionality and adherence to customer requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.
- Report any issues or need for repairs promptly.
- Follow all safety standards and company procedures.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and wiring techniques.
- Prefer 3-5 years’ experience in panel building or electrical assembly.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
