Core Responsibilities include:
- Review and approve current menus and recipes
- Assist the Manager or Nutritional Services in analyzing and planning menu cycles
- Plan and approve special modified diets
- Advise on procedures for carrying out physician's special diet orders
- Review patient file to ensure it is maintained in a current and complete manner
- Review each patient's specific diet order and ensure that it is appropriate for diagnosis and nutritional needs
- Complete nutritional assessments and screenings, and document any pertinent nutritional information in the patient chart.
- Facilitate in-service training programs with nutritional services employees as required and complete dietary reports
Requirements:
- A minimum of two on-site visits per month.
- Availability to receive and return phone calls during reasonable hours of operation.
