Outside Sales Representative

George Apap, Inc, Putnam County's most well respected and trusted painting company, is looking for an energetic and aggressive sales representative to work out of our Patterson office, who can generate leads and create business with us In this position, you'll be responsible for estimating residential and commercial paint and carpentry projects to home owners and property managers throughout Putnam, Duchess, and Westchester Counties as well as into Connecticut. Position Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing accounts as well as bring in new business within your territory.
• Will be responsible for generating new business and developing a personal book of business through prospecting and cold calling for approximately 80% of your sales
• Provide effective business solutions at on-site customer consultations, including estimating our commercial painting services
• Deliver George Apap-quality customer service with the help of our sales support team.

Excellent Pay and Benefits

As an Outside Sales Representative, you can build out your territory supported by the best painting teams and be a part of a tradition of successful sales Commission based compensation structure offering a beginning base salary of $40,000, with a targeted combined compensation of $80,000 - $100,000 (salary and commission) within the first 12 months. Paid time off, flexible scheduling, Health Insurance and 401(k) matching also available.

Requirements:

• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent cold calling and door to door experience
• Excellent computer skills
• At least 5-10 years of sales experience
• Industry knowledge a plus
• College graduates preferred
