The Sales and Marketing Intern is a 6-month, full-time role supporting GSSI’s sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations and effective execution of initiatives. This position is responsible for supporting the marketing and sales team with a variety of tasks, including Salesforce lead administration, collateral and website updates, social media platform coordination, presentations, events, and more. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and demonstrates initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Salesforce lead data, ensuring accuracy and timely updates on incoming open leads.
- Prepare and edit PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
- Coordinate updates, printing, and distribution of marketing materials.
- Work with Marketing Content Specialist to schedule social media posts across platforms and engage with GSSI followers, as appropriate
- Assist with content creation (e.g., social posts, email copy, and marketing collateral).
- Work closely with the Senior Marketing Specialist to support event coordination.
- Assist with email campaigns and website updates.
- Provide administrative support for marketing and sales initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience or prior coursework in marketing, social media, or communications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Interest in marketing and willingness to learn new tools
- Experience with content creation or graphic design tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
