What are the responsibilities and job description for the (Bilingual Korean) Helpdesk/Network Technician position at Geopaq Logic?
Job Title: Network Technician (Jr. Level)
Contract Period: 17 Months
Working Location: Taylor, TX 76574
Work Hours: Day Shift (7:00am to 7:00pm)
Schedule 1: Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday
Schedule 2: Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday
This technician will work closely with the Network Team to actively perform network monitoring, provide 1st level troubleshooting to network issues, escalations to network team, communicate with internal teams about alerts/issues, participate in network issues resolution as needed, perform network audits, and occasional support the network team for projects execution during night change windows. We are looking for someone who can follow SOPs, has the right work attitude, willing to help others, sense of responsibility, passion for networks, and desire to learn.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of Network Help Desk or Network Technician experience
- Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) certification or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Comp TIA A certification.
- Some experience with VLANs, Subnetting, IP addresses, Ethernet cables, fiber optic cables, SSH, telnet, traceroute, optical transceivers, hubs, switches.
- Due to required SLA, must live within 1 hour from north Austin, TX.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
