As a CI Analyst, you will produce all-source intelligence products to assess foreign intelligence entities’ capabilities, intentions, and opportunities to threaten U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, resources, and interests worldwide. You will directly support senior officials, collectors, and operators across DoD, the IC, and law enforcement agencies, contributing to DIA’s CI programs and mission objectives.What You’ll Do
- Analyze regional and functional CI topics, including foreign intelligence threats to the Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP), DoD supply chains, and emerging technologies.
- Evaluate threats from foreign intelligence technical equipment and provide actionable recommendations to U.S. government decision-makers.
- Support senior officials, collectors, and operators with intelligence assessments, briefings, and operational guidance.
- Produce analytic products assessing foreign intelligence capabilities, intentions, and vulnerabilities to U.S. DoD operations.
- Apply knowledge of CI capabilities, tradecraft, and foreign intelligence activities to develop CI strategies.
- Collaborate across military, intelligence, and interagency teams to ensure comprehensive threat coverage.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to training initiatives as needed.
Education & Experience (based on level):
- Senior Level: Master’s degree 12 years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree 17 years relevant experience.
- Mid Level: Bachelor’s degree 8 years relevant experience.
- Junior Level: Bachelor’s degree 3 years relevant experience OR 7 years relevant experience without a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Proven experience producing CI or all-source intelligence analytic products.
- Strong ability to assess foreign intelligence threats and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for authoring reports, briefings, and assessments.
- Experience collaborating across DoD, IC, and interagency partners.
- Prior experience supporting DIA or DoD CI programs.
- Familiarity with CI operational tools and methodologies.
- Experience mentoring or training other analysts.
- Regional expertise or experience supporting a designated Area of Responsibility (AOR).
