The Classroom Tutor is responsible for performing the following duties:
- Motivate and support students in achieving high levels of academic success.
- Maintain high behavioral expectations for all students.
- Provide targeted individual assistance and small-group tutoring.
- Communicate regularly with students and their support networks regarding academic progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and school administrators.
- Participate in required staff-development opportunities.
- Ensure the security and proper use of computer equipment and accessories.
- Comply with all school policies and procedures.
Reports To, Schedule, and Employment Status
Reports to: Principal
Employment status: Part-time
Work hours: 7:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission and organizational goals of GEO Academies.
- Completion of at least two years of college or a minimum of 60 college credit hours.
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
Salary : $37,498 - $69,909
