We’re hiring a Fire Alarm Technician / Installer with real field experience who wants a long-term career in the low-voltage industry. Right now, our fire alarm workload comes in waves—so we’re looking for someone who can install fire alarm systems when those projects are active, and who is also willing to stay productive and keep learning on access control, security, and network/structured cabling when fire alarm projects are lighter.

What You’ll Do
- Pull, route, and secure low-voltage cabling (fire alarm and other systems)
- Install fire alarm system components:
- Panels & annunciators
- Smoke/heat detectors
- Pull stations
- Horns/strobes and notification devices
- Modules and related equipment
- Read and follow prints, riser diagrams, and wiring layouts
- Terminate, label, and test wiring cleanly and correctly
- Assist with system startup, troubleshooting, and inspections
- Follow NFPA 72, local AHJ requirements, and jobsite safety rules
- When fire alarm work is light, assist and learn:
- Access control
- Security / intrusion
- Network infrastructure & structured cabling
- IP Video Solutions
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum of 3 years in the fire alarm / low-voltage industry
- Proven experience pulling cable and installing fire alarm systems
- Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring best practices
- Must pass a drug test
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable with ladders/lifts and active construction sites
- Ability to pass background checks as required by job sites
Work Ethic & Expectations
- This is a hands-on, working position
- You are expected to be on the tools and productive in the field
- If you want a “lead” title but don’t want to stay on the tools and help produce in the field, this is not the position for you.

Pay: $48,129.20 - $75,000.00 per year
