Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our team in Anaheim, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing results with accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining a high level of quality control throughout all laboratory operations.
During the initial 1–3 month paid training period in Los Angeles, you will learn company processes, testing platforms, documentation procedures, and workflow. Upon completion, you will transition fully to the Anaheim laboratory.
This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret high-complexity laboratory tests in accordance with CLIA, CAP, and state regulations.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform quality control and proficiency testing as assigned.
- Review and validate test results prior to reporting.
- Communicate any unusual findings, equipment issues, or testing delays to supervisors.
- Adhere to safety and infection-control protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
Assist with training new team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California CLS license
- Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory experience.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methodologies and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Ability to complete 1–3 months of training in Los Angeles before transitioning to Anaheim.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with high-volume testing environments.
- Familiarity with LIS systems and digital documentation.
