Responsibilities:
- Receive and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Verify patient information and specimen identification
- Prepare specimens for analysis by following established protocols
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of specimen information
- Adhere to laboratory safety and quality control procedures
- Collaborate with laboratory team to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
- Familiarity with collection of specimens
- Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
